Wire Mesh PE Pipe Pullers

Also known as Towing Socks, Chinese Fingers or Pulling Grips used to pull pipe above or below ground. The harder the pull, the tighter the grip. Wire mesh tube with an eye at one end. Manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand steel cable in a crisscross weave design. Plastic coated strands increase the life of the grip, provide a bearing surface on underground pulls to increase the ease and safety of installation and removal. The pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.

Commonly used to install pipe or conduit using directional drilling rig (HDD) or vibratory plow.

Benefits

• Withstands a breaking load in excess of three times the working load.
• Simple and quick to fit and remove.
• Adds little to the outside diameter of the pipe when pulled.

• Copper or aluminum tabs on tail end of grip add reinforcement and ensure quick attachment to the pipe.

To fit, simply compress the grip and slide over the pipe end. Then attach pulling equipment to the eye.

Model #1: Manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand Steel cable in various weave designs. Recommended wherever high strength and small size are required. Patented pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.

Model #2: Manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic coated Aircraft Strand steel cable in a continuous weave. Plastic coated strands increase the life of the grip, provide a bearing surface on underground pulls and increase the ease and safety of installation and removal. Patented pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving.

Note: Pullers received may have copper or aluminum crimped tabs. The tab material does not impact work load or performance.
